How adoption works

1. Find your match

Browse our available pets and find one who feels like a good fit for your home.

2. Apply

Tell us about your household, lifestyle, and experience so we can get to know you too.

3. Meet

If your application looks like a good match, we'll arrange a meet-and-greet with the pet and their current foster.

4. Home visit & adoption

If the meet-and-greet goes well, we'll schedule a home visit to make sure the environment is a good fit. If everyone agrees it's a match, we'll finalize the adoption and welcome your new companion home.

Every adoption comes with a 7-day money-back trial period. We're careful matchmakers and our return rate stays well below average, but if it isn't right, we make it easy.

There are no "perfect" answers. We appreciate honest, thoughtful responses and may follow up if we have additional questions.
